The City of Long Beach Purchasing Division is committed to providing maximum opportunities for small, disadvantaged, minority, women and Long Beach business enterprises to compete successfully in supplying our needs for goods and services. Businesses are encouraged to register in the City’s Bidder Database at www.longbeach.gov/purchasing to receive automated email notifications for selected contract opportunities based on product/service categories.
Attached is a list of contract opportunities for which the Purchasing Division is currently soliciting bids. Also included are Public Works/Engineering bids, Water Department bids and Request for Proposals (RFPs) from various City departments. City bids and RFPs
may be downloaded from our website www.longbeach.gov/purchasing. Additional information on our website details upcoming bids, department contacts, and information on the local preference and small business certification, etc.
Also, please be sure to check out the City’s Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Very Small Business Enterprise (VSBE), and Local Small Business Enterprise (LSBE) Certification Program. If a vendor is already registered, they only need to go in and update their profile
to apply for this program. If a vendor is registering as a new vendor, they have the option to apply as well.
